Textured flowers, single-colour arrangements, and cheerful, foraged wildflower bouquets are some of the biggest flower trends for 2025, but what else should we have on our radar? Florist and esteemed gardener, David Denyer from Eflorist, unveils the six flower trends tipped to be the most popular.

1. Wildflower bouquets

'There’s a clear shift towards more natural, almost foraged looks in floral design,' says six-time RHS Chelsea Flower Show gold medallist David. ‘Expect to see vibrant wildflower bouquets incorporating cornflowers, cosmos, and daisies, with an emphasis on cheerful hues like yellow, purple, and deep, deep blue.’

With a bohemian look, it ‘encourages a more relaxed approach to floristry, allowing for creativity,’ he adds. So, you can really play around with flowers and colours to make something that is uniquely you.

2. Sustainable choices

Sustainability is a key consideration in today’s floral market, with eco-friendly practices gaining momentum,’ says David, noting the rise in shoppers buying locally sourced flowers. ‘Expect to see blooms like sunflowers, ranunculus, and peonies featured in earthy tones of terracotta, olive green, and soft cream.'

Florists will also be highlighting the story behind their flowers as shoppers ‘increasingly seek transparency in sourcing'.

3. Dried flowers

Another big trend for 2025 is dried flowers. While this style has been popular for a few years now, for 2025 it continues to flourish, with a focus on muted, soft tones, notes David: 'Flowers like lavender, dried eucalyptus, and pampas grass will be at the forefront, embracing shades like dusty rose, sage green, and other pastel hues.’

This also ties in with the idea of sustainability, as dried flowers ultimately have a longer shelf life. They are also brilliant styling devices for a coffee table, mantel, sideboard, or console table, effortlessly adding a sophisticated and rustic charm.

4. Textured arrangements

A great way to create a truly dynamic floral display is to focus on textured arrangements, which can add a whole lot of visual interest. It's a great way to experiment with colour palettes, from soft pastels to rich jewel tones, and utilise a range of flora and fauna.

For example, think of the soft blooms of hydrangeas combined with the delicate fronds of asparagus ferns or the earthy appeal of succulents. ‘This approach allows for intricate layering and depth, making each arrangement a feast for the eyes,’ says David.

5. Bold monochromes

Monochromatic and single-colour looks are set to be all the rage in 2025. ‘These floral arrangements offer a modern, chic appeal, allowing the beauty of each flower to shine through,' explains David. 'They work beautifully in both minimalist designs and as focal points in larger floral installations.'

Rich, striking colours work best: think roses, calla lilies, and zinnias in deep burgundy, vibrant orange, and lavish teal.

6. Neon accents

‘In a playful twist, the use of neon accents is emerging as a vibrant trend for 2025,' reveals David. 'Flowers like gerbera daisies and tulips in neon pink, electric blue and lime green will bring a fun, energetic vibe to arrangements. Alternatively, ‘incorporating these bold colours can also create eye-catching contrasts when paired with more muted tones.'
