Tom Kerridge has launched a range with M&S and it tastes incredible!
Exciting news for fans of British chef, Tom Kerridge (who also happens to be speaking at our GH Live event in November), as he announces a very exciting foodie collaboration with M&S.
Our senior food and drink writer, Mel, went to an exclusive lunch yesterday to meet Tom himself and try some of his amazing new dishes that will be hitting the M&S and Ocado shelves next Tuesday the 24 September.
There are eight new Tom Kerridge x Gastropub lines to try, including starters, mains and desserts, and includes a creamy pork and bacon pâté, deep and generously filled all-butter pastry pies, the British beef cheeks to end all beef cheeks (trust me, you do not want to miss out on this dish as it just melts-in-the-mouth) and two decadent desserts, such as a treacle tart and the most gooey bake-at-home molten cookie dough!
Hearing the process behind this incredibly delicious range makes me appreciate just how much effort and involvement there has been from Tom and the team. From creating over 160 different pie iterations for M&S, to then narrow it down to just a handful - it sounded like a tough (but no doubt delicious) job.
For those of us not fortunate enough to get a reservation at his restaurant The Hand & Flowers in Marlow, this might just be the next best solution - to eat Tom's food in the comfort of your pj's!
Tom Kerridge explains: “The gastropub kitchen is my heartland and these new dishes take inspiration from the flavours from my pubs – comforting classics with modern twists, top notch ingredients and layers of flavour. All with the added beauty of being able to enjoy them from the comfort of your own home!”
