Tom Daley reveals the unique details of his stunning cardigan for Sharon Stone
We love seeing Tom Daley's latest knitting creations – and now we've had a peek at the stunning details in the cardigan he made for Sharon Stone. Last week, Tom revealed that he was making a knitted cardigan for the Hollywood star, and this week we were treated to a more detailed look at how Tom created the incredible embroidered flowers on the cardigan, before he finally delivered the finished piece to Sharon.
Taking to his Instagram account, Tom shared a video of himself working on the cardigan – trying it on and making amendments as he knitted, before adding beautiful embroidered flowers.
The video is the second Tom has posted about the cardigan he made for Hollywood actress Sharon Stone – in the first he showed himself starting the project, including working on the must-stitch tension square.
He begins this video with trying on the cardigan to check the fit, and adds in buttonholes. Tom then embroiders flowers onto the main body of the cardigan in pink and lilac yarn, as a nod to Sharon's love of flowers. He finished the piece by creating covered buttons using leftover pink yarn.
In the next video he posted, Tom shared how he wrapped the cardigan, tying it with a pink ribbon, and hand-delivered it to Sharon Stone. He tells fans: "I was super excited for Sharon to see it".
In the video, we can see Sharon trying on the cardigan and sharing her delight, saying: "These buttons are so cute. I've never seen anything like that in my life. This is the cutest sweater".
