Tissot and NBA Teaming Up Again, Including on a New Shot Clock

Tissot will be keeping time for the Los Angeles Lakers for the foreseeable future. The Swiss watchmaker has renewed its partnership with the basketball team and the NBA for the 2025-26 season and beyond.

Next season, NBA arenas will be getting a makeover with a new shot clock from Tissot. The timepiece brand has reimagined the shot clock, giving the traditional angular design — which Tissot created for the NBA in 2015 — a round facelift. The circular clock also incorporates advanced technology and a state-of-the-art shot clock and timing system. The redone Tissot shot clock will make its way to WBNA arenas as well, starting in the 2026 season.

Tissot’s partnership with the NBA, which follows its previous collaboration from 2015 to 2021, also includes a new watch. The 172-year-old brand has launched the Tissot NBA Supersport 2025 special edition watch, which takes inspiration from the court with a pebbled band and face that mirrors the leather grain on basketballs. The quartz chronograph movement watch is stamped with odes to the NBA, including numbers in the same font as the ones on players’ jerseys; a second hand that consists of the NBA logo, and a back case that’s engraved with the NBA logo alongside team cities such as Los Angeles, New York, Miami, Chicago, and more.

In addition to the shot clock and collaborative watch, Tissot will serve as the presenting partner for an NBA Global Game in Europe over the next 10 years. Plus the two entities will be teaming up on “enhanced fan experiences, including in-arena activations, sweepstakes and sponsored content on the team’s social channels.”

With precision and performance a part of its DNA, Tissot has served as an official timekeeper of the FIBA, at the Tour de France and La Vuelta, and in motorsports MotoGP.
