Timothée Chalamet looks unrecognisable with blonde hair
We've said it before and we'll say it again... 2024 has been *the* year of method dressing. From Zendaya's tennis-inspired looks during the promotion of her film, Challengers, to Lily-Rose Depp going full goth-ghostcore ahead of the release of her vampire movie, Nosferatu, the commitment to the cause has been unparalled.
And the latest celeb to jump on the trend, you ask? None other than Timothée Chalamet. The 28-year-old has just dyed his signature brunette locks a shade of sweet honey-blonde as he continues to promote his latest film, A Complete Unknown. Our verdict? We're low-key loving it!
The actor - who stars in the lead role of Bob Dylan - rocked up to the New York City premiere of the biopic film debuting the new look. For those with a beady pop culture eye, you'll also have noticed that Timothée channelled the music icon wardrobe-wise, too.
Donning a blue knitted beanie over his new shaggy blonde fringe, the actor wore a checked shirt, a grey tartan scarf, a leather jacket and black jeans - the exact outfit Bob Dylan wore to the 2003 Sundance Film Festival. Albeit a niche choice - and perhaps not the first look we've had gone for, considering Timothée plays a young Dylan in the film - the resemblance is still uncanny! And of course, the homage is very sweet.
This isn't the first time Timothée has honoured the musician, though. During the Los Angeles premiere, the actor gave a more subtle nod to his muse, wearing another black leather jacket with an assortment of badges that relate to the star. This included two pins that read 'Bob' and 'Dylan,' plus another with the phrase 'Get Born,' a lyric from his 1965 song, Subterranean Homesick Blues.
