Thunder Valley Pro Motocross Press Day | TWMX First Look

We talked to the riders today following up after the last California round. Aaron Plessinger was all smiles reflecting on last weekend's performance. When asking AP what was going through his mind when his teammate overtook him for the win he stated "It's hard to be mad at a performance like that" "It was such a good moto, it felt so good to me. Chase was just riding exceptionally well". The KTM rig was buzzing that evening with multiple podium finishes with 1-2 450 finishes between Sexton and Plessinger and Vialle taking 2nd in the 250s.

Riders seem to favor tracks like Thunder valley and other east coast tracks now that we are finished with the first two California rounds. Jo Shimoda states "I would love to race on the softer side, more ruts. Just because it slows everyone down. Hangtown was all wide open. I don't really like going fast on that super dry slick stuff." A few, if not most, riders feel the same way. With Thunder Valley's constant changing elevation and after a nice deep prep we should see some good racing and line choices from the riders tomorrow.
