Word to the wise: Not all Prime Day deals are as great as they may seem because of inflated retail prices. So I combed through the options to pinpoint the best of the best, using price trackers and relying on my knowledge as a longtime editor at home and food magazines. I was excited to find that a Yahoo editor favorite, which we included in our roundup of the best espresso machines of 2024, was on sale.

Many of the other machines on this list are down to their lowest prices of the year. Keep scrolling to see what we found, and remember to act fast. Prime Day is over tomorrow!

What can we say about the Barista Express that its 20,500 fans haven't already? Reviewers love it for its easy setup, sleek design and large (67-ounce!) water tank. "I dare say my homemade lattes and espressos now taste even better than Starbucks!" bragged this buyer.

Yahoo editors love it, too. We named it one of the best espresso machines of 2024, praising it for its built-in grinder and beloved status among coffee pros.

You won't find a better price on this Philips machine, which has been marked down 34% exclusively for Prime members. I like how clear the display is on this machine — it makes choosing your type of drink, coffee strength and even level of milk froth easy.

Speaking of milk, this machine uses Philips' LatteGo system, which promises extra-silky, creamy froth. Reviewers found the frother easy to use and clean, and overall, they liked how straightforward the machine is once you play around with it a few times.

Said one fan: "As a coffee novice who loves lattes and espressos, this coffee maker has been a game-changer for me. No more juggling multiple tools – this all-in-one machine delivers delicious beverages quickly and effortlessly. While there was a slight learning curve to master all the options and cleaning processes, the overall experience has been delightful."

You'd be hard-pressed to find a more stylish budget model than this, which has dropped to its lowest price of the year. At $145 this Neretva number costs the same as about 28 lattes — use it for a couple of months and you're basically making money!

I especially like this model's slightly retro look and matte off-white finish, which make it seem way pricier than it actually is. Some reviewers mentioned that the steam wand takes time to figure out, but as one customer wrote, "For the cost it makes a very excellent espresso!"

Italian brand De'Longhi is famous for its top-of-the-line coffeemakers, and at more than 40% off, the Start is one of the best deals we've seen this Prime Day. It comes with a built-in burr grinder and three preset recipes (Americano, coffee, and espresso), so you can play barista like a pro. Bellissima!

No espresso machine is tiny, but reviewers commend this one for its slimmer-than-normal profile (it's about 17 inches wide). "It is barely larger than a drip coffeemaker. This is the smallest and most compact superautomatic I’ve seen," said one happy reviewer.

This brawny brewer is fully automatic, which means it grinds and tamps the coffee for you — ideal if you're an espresso newbie who wants to make shots and lattes with the push of a button. Have more than one caffeine lover in your house? You can brew two cups at the same time for double the fun.

Reported one enamored reviewer: "I admit that I hesitated to get this. I was concerned about the size and, more importantly, the possible complexity. I love coffee, and I love gadgets. My wife loves coffee — especially lattes and cappuccinos — but gadgets not so much. I didn't want a coffee machine that required a cup of coffee before she could use it in the morning. I needn't have worried. She loves this Bosch machine."

Saving $200 on a machine like this is no joke — this is the lowest price we've seen all year! If that's not a pick-me-up, I don't know what is.

Take a cue from Jennifer Garner and kit out your kitchen with this does-it-all unit that's $200 off for Prime Day — its lowest price ever. Released earlier this year, this buzzy new model comes preloaded with 15 recipes for lattes, macchiatos, Americanos and more, not to mention an automatic milk frother.

The stainless steel design is perfect for minimalists — no bulky knobs or steam wands here. You simply pick your drink from the digital display and press a button to get things going.

At $1,000, this machine is a splurge for sure, but it's not often on sale. Besides: you deserve it!

Another fully automatic machine from De'Longhi, this one was price-slashed by more than 50%. It has five preset drink options and 13 grind settings, so you can make your beans as fine or coarse as you like.

This machine is very similar to the Magnifica Start, but it typically costs $1,000 to the Start's $650. Right now both are selling for $500, so if you're looking for a serious bargain, this might be the way to go. Just note that the reviews for the Start are generally better, though fans commend the Evo for its user-friendliness and the fact that it automatically rinses the brewer head so you don't get that stale coffee taste.

I admit this is a bit of a different beast, but a stovetop espresso maker is a great thing to have if you're on a budget and still want a rich jolt of caffeine. This one has more than 19,400 perfect five-star ratings, and for Prime Day it's more than 40% off, bringing it to a bargain $6.

Although this is a manual model, it's easy to use: You fill the bottom part with water, then add ground coffee to the funnel, and heat the entire pot over your stovetop. As one fan put it, "Surely a moka pot for less than $5 must be poor quality right? Wrongo! What I got was solid, nice build quality, highly polished, equal in appearance to pictures of Bialleti ... and proved every bit as functional."
