There's something surprisingly normal about Prince Harry and Meghan's new £11m home

Not only did the newly added epilogue to the biography Finding Freedom report Royal staffers had rescinded their bullying claims against Meghan Markle, it also revealed there's something surprisingly normal about her new £11 million home with Prince Harry.

The couple made the decision to leave the UK last year and moved to California in the US. Given that Prince Harry is of course the Queen's grandson, and with Meghan having a successful acting career, you'd be forgiven for thinking they had cash in the bank to pay for their new house up front.

But, it turns out the couple are just like us normal folk when it comes to moving home. In fact, the epilogue in their biography confirms Harry and Meghan actually got a mortgage on their nine-bedroom mansion.

In the epilogue, Royal journalists Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand said: "As they settled into the nine-bedroom, 7.4-acres, 18,671-square-foot property (which, like nearly all average couples, they took a mortgage out on), Harry and Meghan enjoyed the lush grounds with Archie, who was now running around with boundless energy and making the most of the private playground at his disposal."

The newly-added section also explains how the couple chose which area to settle down in. It is the "perfect place to raise a family, specifically Montecito, where houses sit within double-gated communities for maximum privacy yet are close enough to the amenities of civilisation when needed" the epilogue reads.

We're still hoping our invite to the house warming party is in the post.
