These Are The 50 Best Restaurants In The World (And They’re Predictably Swanky)

When you’ve got something to celebrate, the first thing on your mind is which restaurant to treat yourself to - and it can be a pretty difficult decision.

But choosing the World’s Best 50 Restaurants list, the awards for which were recently held in a glitzy fashion in New York, must have been a challenge indeed.

Celebrating the best eateries from around the world, award-winning chefs and restaurants largely hailed from metropolitan cities, from Tokyo to São Paulo.

Declared the best restaurant in the world was Italian chef Massimo Batturo’s Osteria Francescana in Modena. London, of course, made the list too, bagging three places. Not bad for our little island, eh?
