The Ordinary
The Ordinary is offering 23% off throughout November. (The Ordinary/Yahoo UK)

Since bursting onto the scene in 2016, The Ordinary has been the beauty industry's biggest disruptor, thanks to its affordable formulas, active ingredients and fuss-free packaging.

With much of its range costing less than £8, it has since expanded beyond skincare and now also offers haircare, bodycare and make-up.

If you love the brand as much as we do, you'll be pleased to know there's 23% off everything from The Ordinary online for the entire month of November.

As part of a bid to encourage 'slow shopping', it's encouraging customers to be more considerate about their purchases, instead of engaging in the frenzy of Black Friday.

Don't lose out on some fantastic bargains and take advantage of the savings to stock up on your favourite products or try out some new additions to your routine.

If you're unsure where to start – don't worry, it's a pretty extensive line-up – allow us to share our guidance.

Why we rate The Ordinary's products

Ever since its arrival on the UK beauty scene, we've been very impressed with the efficacy of The Ordinary's products, that rival some of the luxury brands we love.

Containing active ingredients such as hyaluronic, glycolic and lactic acid, these chemical exfoliants are a fast way to achieve glowing, radiant, blemish-free skin without spending a fortune.

We've handpicked our top-performing favourites that have long held a spot in our skincare routine and are worthy of being in your bathroom cabinet too.

4 tried and tested products we love

Squalane Cleanser | £4.23 (Was £5.50) from The Ordinary

Shop now

This is our all-time favourite product from The Ordinary. It's a creamy balm that melts down full-coverage foundation, stubborn lipstick and even waterproof mascara with ease, to leave skin clean, soft and glowing.

To remove make-up, simply massage onto a dry face and take off with a lukewarm flannel, however you can also use this in the morning when applied to damp skin for a refreshing way to start the day. Rich in squalane, an ingredient which strengthens the skin barrier, it's ideal if you have sensitive skin that's prone to redness and irritation. Now available for less than £5, we're stocking up.

Multi-Peptide Lash and Brow Serum | £9.55 (Was £12.50) from The Ordinary

Shop now

A newer addition to The Ordinary is its Lash and Brow Serum, which not only works to condition hair, but to volumise too, in turn creating a thicker, fuller effect. As expected, The Ordinary offers one of the most reasonably priced lash and brow serums on the market, with its competitor products often costing upwards of £50, so this is an absolute steal. The water-based serum is easy to apply using the tiny brush which evenly coats hairs and won't irritate sensitive eyes.

Azelaic Acid Suspension 10% | £6.62 (Was £8.60) from The Ordinary

Shop now

If an uneven skin tone and blemishes are your skincare bugbear, try incorporating azelaic acid into your routine. The creamy formula is fast-acting to reduce skin redness while brightening and is gentle enough to use every day. It has a matte finish, so is a great base underneath make-up too.

Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG | £4.95 (Was £6.40) from The Ordinary

Shop now

Tackle dark circles in time for party season with this caffeine-rich solution. It's a thin, watery texture that's fast-absorbing and does a stellar job at improving the appearance of tired eyes. Like an eight-hour sleep in a jar, it's suitable for all skin types and despite costing less than a fiver, gets noticeable results on tackling under-eye puffiness too.
