As a fellow uber-pale girl, I understand your cries of frustration at not being able to find base makeup products that work with your skintone. Yes, brands do Light and Ivory shades, but they are hardly ever quite light enough.

All your beauty worries are now solved with this handy rundown of products Snow White would be proud of…

MAC Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15 Foundation, £22

If you constantly lament the fact that you can never find a foundation pale enough for your skin, you will at MAC. They love pale skin and have it in every shade imaginable, both warm and cool-toned. The Studio Fix Fluid Foundation has a matte finish and a buildable medium to full coverage.

Lord & Berry Cream Foundation in White-Milk, £20

You may look at this and think who on earth could need white foundation, but if you open your mind, the possibilities are plentiful. If you can’t find your favourite foundation or concealer in a light enough shade, mix in some of this. Or, and this is my personal favourite, this makes for a great under-eye highlighter and brightener on extremely pale skin - just dab some in a V shape under your eyes with a Beauty Blender and you’re good to go.

Kevyn Aucoin The Sculpting Powder in Light, £35

If you have searched high and low for a contour powder that isn’t too dark for your pale skin, you can thank me later for introducing you to this new shade from Kevyn Aucoin. Not only is it incredibly blendable, but this matte, cool-toned shade will work with even the palest of complexions.

The Body Shop Shade Adjusting Drops in Lightening, £10

If you have a foundation or a concealer that’s too warm for your skintone and needs cooled down, the white and pink pigments in these unique drops will counteract yellowness to do just that. All you need to do is add one drop per half shade that you want the product you have lightened.

W7 Pump & Blush in Sin, £4.95

If you want a blusher that looks extremely natural on pale skin, look no further than this gel-cream one from budget brand W7. You can’t really apply too much of this by accident and all you need to do is pat it into your cheekbones for a subtle flush and some added dimension.
