Royal fans and dog lovers, listen up, the Duchess of Cambridge made her second official appearance of 2022 today, as she visited Clitheroe Community Hospital in Lancashire.

The duchess made the visit with her husband, the Duke of Cambridge, to learn about the unique challenges faced by rural health providers due to the pandemic.

Though unlike most (read: all) hospital visits we've ever made, the royal's visit included an introduction to a furry friend: a 'therapy puppy' named Alfie.

The duchess seemed particularly taken by the apricot cockapoo, who will be trained to support patients and colleagues at the hospital, and we were particularly taken by the 40-year-old's tan co-ord.

And, true to form, the duchesses outfit is actually more affordable than you might think.

The outfit she chose to step out in included her trusty Massimo Dutti camel coat and a cosy co-ord made up of a polo neck jumper and a merino wool-blend midi skirt, both from Iris & Ink.

She was also carrying a Roma Mini Clutch from Metier London, which she first wore in March 2021, but that's £1,080 so we won't focus on that for now.

The rest of the outfit is much more within our budget, with the polo neck coasting £145 and the matching skirt priced at £165.

That's a total of £310 for the entire outfit, which, it goes without saying, is pretty chic and on-trend.

And, by some miracle, you can still get your hands on the matching co-ord (bought separately) via The Outnet.
