The 3 best Le Creuset colors, according to my Facebook groups

Every Le Creuset color is absolutely gorgeous, but these vibrant classics are a must on your stovetop.

In the world of cookware (and home decor), there's one thing that people are very, very passionate about — and that's their favorite Le Creuset color. So, I wasn't surprised when I stumbled across an argument happening in my private neighborhood Facebook group about which Le Creuset color is the best. I mean, with 24 colors to choose from, ranging from Sea Salt to Nectar and the brand-new Nuit, there's something for everyone. I know you weren't asking, but I live and breathe by Artichaut.

While everyone clearly has their favorite colors, I was curious to find out if there was any kind of consensus. After delving through the (many) comments under the initial post, there were three Le Creuset colors that popped up over and over again: Cerise, Flame and Caribbean. Why, you may ask? Well, they're really pretty! If you want to take a cue from the Facebookers, scroll below to shop some of the best Le Creuset goodies in each color (yes, a Dutch oven is on the list).

You can’t attempt to complete your at-home Great British Baking Show technical challenge without a good set of baking dishes. These dishes are made from premium stoneware that ensures excellent heat distribution with a smooth interior that doesn't crack. The best part? They're stackable for easy storage.

This gorgeous Le Creuset Dutch oven has a healthy 6.75-quart capacity (that's six to seven servings) and you can use the iconic cookware to braise, bake, sear, roast and more. Made with the brand's famous enameled cast iron, the piece is resistant to staining, chipping and cracking, and it's dishwasher-safe.

Um, how cute is this holiday-themed plate? It also comes in White and Artichaut, but there's just something about the deep Cerise with the holly design that makes it perfect for seasonal cookies. Crafted from premium stoneware, the dish is finished with a festive glaze, making it easy to clean and resistant to chips, scratches and stains.

A cross between a Dutch oven and a sauté pan, the sauteuse is great for sauteing (duh), searing, braising, frying and baking everything from pasta to brownies. The enameled cast iron pot is oven- and dishwasher-safe and suitable for all cooktops, even induction.

A uniform crock-and-utensil set is always a good idea. Beyond the stylish design, the silicone tools in this 5-piece set are seriously durable. Meanwhile, the crock is designed with stoneware that resists chips, scratches and stains.

If you're looking for a more affordable item from the Le Creuset family, consider this darling 8-ounce cocotte. It has a premium enamel-glazed interior and is ideal for heating up individual servings of cozy favorites like baked ziti, oatmeal, stew and more. A little luxury goes a long way.

You can never go wrong with a high-quality casserole dish — especially when the weather gets chilly and all you want is a cozy meal. This baby is made of premium stoneware for optimal heat distribution and features a lid to lock in moisture. Beyond casseroles, you can use it for desserts, broiling fish, roasting veggies and more.

There's just something so delightfully "homey" about a colorful kettle on the stove, right? This enamel-on-steel one is chip resistant, non-reactive, resistant to stains and easy to clean. I actually own one and can attest that it boils water super-duper fast and is easy to pour and fill.

Made of enameled cast iron just like the Dutch oven, but at just 2.25-quart it has a smaller footprint, making it just right for smaller stoves, meals for one or two people and, of course, sauces. The extended handle makes for maximum stovetop control and for bringing the deliciousness within to the table.
