Tell Us Your Dating App Success Story

Though most people using dating apps would agree that they are the absolute TRENCHES, some folks miraculously find meaningful connections on them.

Perhaps you were having no luck on Bumble or Hinge, so you decided to download Tinder and give it a try. You weren't hopeful, given Tinder's reputation, but you figured you had nothing to lose. You ended up having a lovely conversation with someone new to your city, so you agreed to grab dinner. Fast forward six months, and you're in one of the happiest and healthiest relationships of your life. Because you were both upfront about your intentions, you were able to find someone who matched your energy. You're really happy and eager to see where things go.

Maybe you met your husband on Bumble when you were in college. At first, you were only looking for casual fun, so you weren't very serious about the app. All of that changed when you met *him.* You dated from sophomore to senior year, moved in together post-grad, got engaged a year later, and now you're married. You also finally told your parents the truth about how you met! You originally lied and said you met in the campus library.

Or, perhaps you just moved in with your girlfriend, who you met on Hinge. Neither of you wanted to rush into anything serious, but after spending seven months pretending you weren't madly in love with each other, you decided to buck up and get serious. You've officially been together for three years now, and you've secretly picked out the ring you want to propose with. And to think, it all started with a silly conversation about your go-to karaoke songs.

Or, perhaps you had one of the best relationships of your young adult life thanks to Bumble, even though you two ultimately didn't stay together. You were together for one remarkable year, and when you started talking about planting roots and having a family, you realized you both wanted different things. It was a painful but amicable split, but you don't regret it one bit. You still consider your relationship a success story because it taught you how to be vulnerable, trusting, and confident enough to establish and enforce boundaries.
