Spain is one of the most visited countries in the world – something that’s been causing a bit of unrest among locals in some of the country’s more popular cities and resorts this year. But there is no shortage of off-the-beaten-track places to visit and experiences to be enjoyed in this fascinating country, if you know where to look. We’d love to hear your Spain recommendations, whether it’s an unsung city, a perfect beach, a beautiful cathedral, an under-the-radar museum, or even your favourite tapas bar. Share your tip and you could win a holiday voucher worth £200.

If you have a relevant photo, do send it in – but it’s your words that will be judged for the competition.

Keep your tip to about 100 words

The best tip of the week, chosen by Tom Hall of Lonely Planet, will win a £200 voucher to stay at a Coolstays property – the company has more than 3,000 worldwide. The best tips will appear in the Guardian Travel section and website.

We’re sorry, but for legal reasons you must be a UK resident to enter this competition.
