Teen Choice Awards 2015: The Best And Worst Celebrity Style

The stars of the film, TV and music world were out in force last night for the annual Teen Choice Awards in LA, and as always there was a whole host of style for us to check out.

The awards ceremony is always a less formal affair than some celeb-clad events, but that isn’t to say the fashion is any less enticing. Forget the floor-sweeping diamond-encrusted gowns and instead feast your eyes on this wonderful array of flippy and flirty summer party dresses that graced the blue carpet…

‘Glee’ star Lea Michele posed up a storm on the, er, blue carpet in a strapless white number adorned with red and blue floral prints. [Photo: Getty]

Lucy Hale, of ‘Pretty Little Liars’ fame, glammed up for the night in a midnight blue and black lace frock that showed off her tiny frame. The petite actress opted for a slicked back hair do and simple black accessories. [Photo: Getty]

Oh Rita, you never fail to stand out from the crowd. The ‘X Factor’ judge made a statement in this lipstick red trouser suit, with matching heels. Somehow, the fact that her outfit clashed mightily with her pink dip-dyed hair didn’t even seem to matter. [Photo: Getty]

Nina Dobrev may’ve taken her leave from ‘The Vampire Diaries’, but the 26-year-old actress proved she’s still as winner after taking home the night’s Teen Choice actress award for sci-fi/fantasy. She also stunned on the red carpet in an embellished mini dress, paired with strappy sandals and straight hair. [Photo: Getty]

Shay Mitchell showed off her never ending pins in a short monochrome number, complete with long sleeves and belt. The ‘Pretty Little Liars’ star opted for smokey eyes and a slicked back side parting - similar to her co-star Lucy Hale. [Photo: Getty]

The first of two frocks for the night, Bella Thorne looked chic in this simple two-tone outfit. The strawberry blonde actress kept her long locks loose and looked years older than her mere 17 years. [Photo: Getty]

We’re not convinced by this off-the-shoulder frock that Emma Roberts wore. Julia Roberts’ niece definitely looked demure and oh-so-chic in this dress but it didn’t have the wow factor like some of the other looks from the night. [Photo: Getty]

Chloe Moretz’s outfit was another ensemble from the night that just didn’t do it for us. While the 18-year-old actress certainly looked stunning, the snake-embellished top was just a little too dark for our liking. However, points for the red lippy. [Photo: Getty]

Oh Britney. We’re not quite sure what to make of this dress. Firstly, it goes against the number one fashion rule by showing off a whole lotta leg and bust, and it’s just a little too Katie Price for us. [Photo: Getty]

Jordana Brewster was another star who went for a strapless number that accentuated her petite frame. The ‘Fast and Furious’ series star kept her hair and make-up simple and carried a boxy red clutch as a much-needed pop of colour. [Photo: Getty]

Zendaya was without a doubt the most glam star at the awards, going all out in a black maxi skirt and frilly white bralet. C’est chic! [Photo: Getty]

Bella Thorne’s second look of the night has our vote. What can only be described as a cutout orange tube dress, she single-handedly amped up the sex appeal on the blue carpet. [Photo: Getty]

Cat Deeley also braved it in an orange dress - not an easy feat but the TV presenter pulled it off. [Photo: Getty]

We love ’Modern Famly’ star Sarah Hyland’s co-ord. Simple and oh-so-summery it made her legs look longer than ever and how about that golden tan?! [Photo: Getty]

Soz, Little Mix. As much as we love you, we just weren’t blown away by your odd assortment of outfits. A bit too much fringing and unflattering shapes for our liking. [Photo: Getty]
