Taylor Swift's Plunging Mini-Dress Combines All Of Her Past Eras
Taylor Swift knows how to make an entrance, and she did just that when she arrived at her surprise Eras Tour wrap party, slash 35th birthday bash, in a dress that combined all of her past eras.
The superstar—who wrapped up her career-defining tour on December 8—looked striking in a black minidress with a dramatic halterneck strap, from Balmain. The piece features a flirty, flared skirt, a ribbed, seashell-like bra with a plunging sweetheart neckline, and silver sequins and crystals in a line down the centre.

The Southern belle silhouette of the dress calls back Swift’s country girl era from her first couple of albums — though thanks to Balmain, this new version of Swift is sleek, mature, and all grown up. The romantic sweetheart neckline of the minidress mirrors the vibe of Lover and the outfits from Red. The all-black reminds us of Reputation. And the crystals and sequins? Well, no matter the occasion, Swift will never miss an opportunity to make the whole place shimmer.

Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, planned the entire surprise party to celebrate the superstar and her massive success. He even wore the suit and top hat he wore onstage to make his cameo at one of her shows in London. Guests, meanwhile, paid tribute to Swift’s different eras with their own shimmery costumes.

Her hair is up in an easy pony with bangs, and she wears her signature black cat eye ('sharp enough to kill a man') and red lip. She accessorises the party look with long, dangly diamond earrings, some diamond rings, and a pink beaded friendship bracelet—an Eras Tour staple.
She is also seen sipping on a cup of what we can only assume is a vodka cranberry. As fans know, a chilled vodka cran hates to see Taylor Swift coming.
