Taylor Swift Is Using Grammys Night to Tease ‘Reputation: Taylor’s Version’
Taylor Swift hasn’t even arrived to the Grammys yet, but she’s already hinting that more details on Reputation: Taylor’s Version will be announced tonight.
Fans noticed the first sign when Swift made her profile photo on Instagram black and white earlier today. Then, as the Grammys red carpet began, Swift’s site “broke,” signaling that further updates are imminent.
Swift is no stranger to using awards shows to announce her albums. She did exactly that at the MTV VMAs in 2022, sharing news of Midnights coming after the show at, well, midnight.
Swift is at the Grammys tonight with six nominations for that very album: Record of the Year (“Anti-Hero”), Album of the Year (Midnights), Song of the Year (“Anti-Hero”), Best Pop Vocal Album (Midnights), Best Pop Solo Performance (“Anti-Hero”), and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance (“Karma” with Ice Spice).
Swift has also been dropping hints about Reputation with her street style outfits for some time. Fans even noted that her Golden Globes and MTV VMAs outfits were Reputation-coded in green and black.
Swift is at the Grammys on her own tonight, as her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, could not join her due to football practice for the Super Bowl next weekend. He expressed his regrets on the Pat McAfee Show, saying, “I wish I could go support Taylor at the Grammys and watch her win every single award that she’s nominated for. But I think I got practice on Sunday. I know I got practice Saturday, but Sunday is a travel day. Unfortunately I’ve got to get ready for this big ol’ Super Bowl that we’ve got in a week.”
The final details on Reputation: Taylor’s Version aren’t out yet, but the moment they are, this post will be updated with the track list (including Vault Tracks), official release date, and more. In the meantime, refresh yourself on all the details Swift spilled about her then-feuds on the 2017 album here.
