Taylor Swift just embraced her 'Red' era in colourful tights
Taylor Swift is ever-generous when it comes to referencing her past or upcoming works in her outfits, and her ensemble this past weekend gave fans another fashion moment to decode.
On Sunday, the Midnights singer attended the AFC Championship Game between the Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs, showing support for her boyfriend Travis Kelce. But it wasn't just her show of solidarity for the Kansas City Chief's player that had fans excited, as Swift's arrival at the stadium proposed another possible Easter egg outfit.
She opted to navigate the chilly Missouri weather by layering up her game-day outfit with black and gold, save for a splash of colour on her legs. Swift embraced a head-to-toe Louis Vuitton look, consisting of a monogrammed zip-up jacket with a black pleated mini skirt and lace-up chunky heel ankle boots. The star accessorised with a matching black knitted beanie with a gold LV logo and Trunk chain wallet.
In addition to her statement Louis Vuitton ensemble, Swift also shared her fashion equation for styling winter hoisery. The singer broke up the black and gold outfit with a pair of vibrant red tights, which she playfully matched to her signature red lipstick. While the shade is also that of the Kansas City Chiefs' team colours, Swift is never one to overlook an opportunity to add an inside sartorial reference for her fans, and it's not hard to see the allusion to her fourth studio album Red.
The All Too Well singer has embraced numerous all-black ensembles recently, including her cropped jacket and skirt two-piece by Area and bejewelled Simkhai coat look back in December. Despite a record-breaking year performing her Eras Tour, it seems that Swift isn't planning on resting for too long, with rumours that she'll start work on a new album in the coming year.
