Taylor Swift elevates her game-day look with a checkered Versace skirt suit
Taylor Swift may be the most famous fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, but today she proved she’s also the most stylish.
Swift stepped out to support her boyfriend Travis Kelce for the Chiefs versus Broncos game at the Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. Not only did the singer wear the colours of her beau’s team, but she did so while wearing a vintage-inspired Versace skirt suit.
Pictured walking through the concrete hallways of the stadium, Swift styled her checkered red-and-black miniskirt with a black corset top and the matching double-breasted blazer, which she wore draped over her shoulders.
While the co-ordinating set is from Versace’s current 2024 autumn/winter season — the jacket retails for £2,310, and the skirt for £1,200 — its design harks back to the ‘90s, when the Italian label dominated runways with its cinched-in skirt suits. Swift, however, imbued the look with a modern twist, pairing pointed black knee-high boots with a black version of Versace’s sleek top-handle bag.
The Fortnight singer paired the ensemble with her classic style of make-up, adding a black winged eyeliner and statement red lipstick to her look. She styled her blonde hair in a casual updo with blunt bangs.
Since Swift began dating Kelce, she’s attended his games in an array of head-turning looks, including a high-fashion Canadian tuxedo, glitter freckles, and Vivenne Westwood corsets. As football season ramps up, we expect her game-day style will continue to deliver.
