Tanner Fletcher Fall 2024 Ready-to-Wear: Bridging Masculine and Feminine With Tailoring, Lace and All of the Bows
Tanner Richie and Fletcher Kasell have developed a knack for understanding their customer base with Gen Z-approved styles that bridge masculine and feminine aesthetics. The designers’ fall 2024 collection continues this and opens their Victorian-era-meets-Bushwick chic vibe to an older customer.
The CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund finalists homed in on their signature design codes for fall, updating their core silhouettes like sequined puffer coats, lace-embroidered dresses, novelty denim and tailored suits that showcase the designers’ ability to create eye-catching designs with a close attention to detail.

As Tanner Fletcher recently expanded into retailers like Nordstrom, Shopbop and Selfridges, the designers wanted to show that they’re not just a Gen Z brand.
“The sequins are our favorites of the season,” Richie said during a preview. “We did more dresses this season than we have in the past. It’s catering more toward a more mature customer, like we already have the Gen Z following and the younger customer, so we wanted to do some more pieces that make sense for the Net-a-porter woman.”
This mature vibe came through in subtle, yet powerful updates to the brand’s core design codes. The signature Tanner Fletcher bow suit — which has been worn by celebrities like Bad Bunny and Tom Daley — made its return with the use of a wire bow so the wearer can crinkle or move around the detail. There was also a tuxedo-style black bow suit embellished with small satin bows, giving the look a minimal, yet sophisticated feel.
On the more feminine side, the designers created a bridal-inspired white maxidress embellished with ruffles and tiny accent bows, and a similar knitted floor-length dress. Both looks embodied an effortless feminine vibe despite the intricacy behind their design.
“It’s about creating a wardrobe that people can mix and match with their thrifted items,” Kasell said. “I feel like a lot of customers are also shopping consignment and at thrift stores. It’s kind of the trend — everyone is wanting a vintage fur coat or their grandma’s whatever — so it’s designed to fit with that sort of customer.”
With its inclusive aesthetic and whimsical designs, the fall 2024 collection proved Tanner Fletcher is not just a Gen Z brand — and that it is just getting started.
