When I was in middle school, I was obsessed with Takis. Actually, most of my neighborhood friends were, too—so much so that my school banned them. Students resorted to sneaking them in just to sell them to others. We took our Taki consumption extremely seriously. So, you can imagine my utter excitement level when I caught wind that Takis is releasing its first-ever sweet flavor, eerily reminiscent of our beloved Taco Bell dessert.

Takis Releases Limited-Edition Churro Charge Flavor

Takis previously ditched the spice for something different when the snack brand released its limited-edition Buckin’ Ranch flavor earlier this year. This time, it's going for something a little sweeter with the new Churro Charge flavor.

The iconic rolled corn chip is coated in a delicious cinnamon sugar mixture, unlike its normal spicy-citrus coating. This new flavor is a brand-new way to enjoy a churro, a Taco Bell fan-fave dessert that’s deep-fried and coated in cinnamon sugar with chocolate dipping sauce. Think of it as multiple mini churros that are extra crunchy and easily accessible in a bag.

Reviews have trickled in from fans after trying the new flavor, and so far, they’re obsessed. When news was shared on Instagram, fans rejoiced and eagerly shared that they would be running to grab them ASAP. Some have even shared their taste tests on TikTok, with one user saying they’re “so good” they’ll be gone before her kids will be able to eat them with her. So far, the chips have been spotted at Walmart, Target, Safeway, and other retail chains, so I highly recommend running to grab these soon. If they’re anything like the ranch flavor option, they’re sure to sell out in minutes.
