Taco Bell Teams Up With Hidden Valley Ranch Taco Bell

First there were the chicken sandwich wars. Now there are the chicken nugget wars. An unlikely contender? Taco Bell. That's right, the Tex-Mex chain is officially launching its own iteration of Crispy Chicken Nuggets on December 19 for a limited time. But perhaps the item that will give this chain's nuggets an edge over the competition is its collaboration with the one and only Hidden Valley Ranch.

Ranch dressing has its own cult following and people have discovered some genius ways to use the creamy condiment. From using it as a pizza topping to incorporating it into your next marinade, the ways people have clung to and utilized the versatile dressing are endless. And Taco Bell is hopping on the bandwagon with three expertly crafted dipping sauces that were developed after exhaustive testing. The results? The introduction of Hidden Valley Fire Ranch Sauce, Bell Sauce, and Jalapeño Honey Mustard.

The Hidden Valley Fire Ranch Sauce marks the restaurant's first collaboration with any ranch brand and blends Hidden Valley's ranch dressing with Taco Bell's signature fire sauce. Along with the new ranch-tastic dipping sauce, Taco Bell is launching Bell Sauce, which combines the chain's signature blend along with flavors of tomato, red chile, and garlic, as well as the aforementioned Jalapeño Honey Mustard, which needs no explanation.

Add this trio to the new crispy nuggets—which are made with all-white meat, marinated in jalapeño buttermilk, and breaded with a blend of breadcrumbs and tortilla chips—and you've got one killer combo. Sadly, these new menu items are only available at participating locations for a limited time. So don't waste your time ordering them up! Later this week you will be able to choose between ordering a 5-piece order with one dipping sauce for $3.99 or a 10-piece order with two dipping sauces for $6.99. Or, you can snag a combo deal by ordering a regular-sized Nacho Fries with a large fountain drink beginning at $5.99 for a 5-piece combo with one dipping sauce and $8.99 for a 10-piece combo with two dipping sauces. Talk about a merry dipmas!
