Sydney Sweeney's chocolate brown leather look is utterly delicious
As much as we love a major red carpet moment – and thanks to the endless stream of glitzy awards ceremonies at this time of year, there have been *many* of them lately – there's nothing like a bit of celebrity street style to get our outfit inspo juices flowing. Well, we don't really have that many occasions for wearing a super glamorous ballgown now, do we?! Leggings, jumpers and coats, on the other hand...
Celebrities' off-duty looks might be more real world-appropriate, but that's not to say they're basic or dull. Just look at Emily Ratajkowski's dog walking wardrobe, that's included everything from a see-through black Coperni naked dress paired with trainers, to laid-back combos of cycling shorts and oversized sweaters. Even holding a pooper scooper, she manages to look cool AF! That's no mean feat.
Another celebrity style fave of ours who we can always count on to provide some strong outfit inspo is Sydney Sweeney. The Euphoria star has a real knack for looking perfectly put together and ticking off multiple trends at once, serving up endless ideas for when we find ourselves stuck in a dressing rut. Her latest look is a prime example:
Spotted on the streets of New York City yesterday, Syd stepped out in a full, rather delicious-looking, chocolate brown ensemble made up of a leather trench, matching knee-high heeled boots, sheer black tights, brown tweed micro-shorts and a caramel coloured rollneck jumper. That's what we call tonal dressing at its very best, featuring some clever and chic layering that's perfect for this tricky between-seasons period.
The actress finished her look with chunky silver hoop earrings, black-rimmed glasses and the hottest bag of the moment: Loewe's squishy Flamenco bag – in an on-theme chocolate leather colourway, naturally. Now, excuse us while we dig out every single item of brown clothing we own, and attempt to replicate this fab 'fit for ourselves – while seriously thinking twice about any Lenten promises we've made...
