These sweet cones are so easy to make
If you're wondering how to make a sweet cone, the good news is it's super easy – and a really fun craft project for beginners!
Sweet cones are a great paper craft to make kids' treats feel extra special. Whether you fill them with sweets, popcorn or other dry snacks, they're much more fun than a bowl. It could even make healthier snacks seem more interesting to fussy eaters.
They're great for kids' parties, but can make at-home movie nights or celebrations for events such as Halloween and Christmas feel that little bit more exciting for little ones in your family.
Learning how to make a sweet cone is also a fun craft project for kids. Why not let them make some snacks and lay out a special tuck shop for the celebration.
If you're hosting a kids' birthday party and want to save money with some homemade sweet cones, you could also make a piñata out of paper mâché. Once the kids have smashed it to release the sweets, they can scoop them up in a homemade sweet cone.
Here we use a combination of wrapping paper and tissue paper, so it's a great craft to personalise to whatever scheme you're going for – or to use up leftover gift wrap.
