We live in a brave new world.

Years ago, people would have scoffed at the idea of men’s rompers and crop tops, but here we are in 2017.

And next on the agenda are suspenders for men.

While suspenders for women tend to keep tights up, suspenders for men by NV Holders keep their shirts down and neatly tucked under their trousers.

We have a man called Nik Vene to thank for this innovate design after he launched two Kickstarter campaigns from 2016.

There are two designs – the ‘S-holder’ and ‘T-holder’ – each available in black, blue and beige.

According to the website, the idea sprung from Vene when he was “constantly stressed out because of his shirt”:

“He had to constantly re-tuck it; when he stretched, kneeled or sat,” it reads.

“After checking what market has to offer, he has decided to develop something new.

“On this point, the first T-Holder was born.”

Manners. Style. Focus. Vision. #nvholders

The idea isn’t far from body tops for women – you’ll move around throughout your day or evening and things will stay neatly tucked in.

And prices range from $29.99 (£22) to £34.99 (£26) if you fancy yourself a pair.

Though whether the look has the same sex appeal as female suspenders do on women is another matter.
