Susan Lucci Shines in Zuhair Murad, Sherri Shepherd Dons Sergio Hudson and More Stars at Daytime Emmy Awards 2023

Susan Lucci made a shining statement at the 2023 Daytime Emmy Awards in Los Angeles on Friday, opting for an orange Zuhair Murad gown.

Lucci wore the strapless number, with details including a side-train and striped sequin design, to receive the Lifetime Achievement Honor. The actress has played Erica Kane on ABC’s “All My Children” for 40 years.

Sherri Shepherd made a bright arrival in a yellow off-the-shoulder Sergio Hudson gown with a stunning side-train. Shepherd was nominated for Outstanding Daytime Talk Show Host, though the award ultimately went to Kelly Clarkson for “The Kelly Clarkson Show.”

Amanda Kloots wore a Pat Bo gown with a crystal-embellished top and a minimalist white skirt from the designer’s fall 2023 ready-to-wear collection. “The Talk” host presented at the awards.

Maury Povich and Connie Chung held hands on the red carpet, with Povich wearing a black suit and Chung wearing a metallic pink blazer with black bottoms. Povich was also the recipient of a Lifetime Achievement honor.

Michelle Stafford added her spin to the sheer trend in a black Retrofête Winne dress, with details including semi-sheer mesh fabric with beaded embellishments throughout. Stafford earned a nod for Outstanding Lead Performance in a Daytime Drama Series: Actress, for her role in CBS’ “The Young and the Restless.”

Adrienne Bailon-Houghton went ethereal in a strapless Cult Gaia gown with voluminous ruffles. Styled by Marc Eram, the talk show host’s outfit was from the brand’s spring 2023 ready-to-wear collection.
