Suki Waterhouse praises 'calm' new dad Robert Pattinson as she poses with baby daughter
Suki Waterhouse has opened up about what Robert Pattinson is like as dad, as she posed with their new baby daughter in a cover for Vogue.
The model, 32, and the Twilight actor, 37, confirmed they had welcomed their first child together, when they stepped out on a family stroll in LA in March.
Opening up about how motherhood has been so far, Suki confessed that it's been “shocking in every way," particularly after finding out from nurses that she should try and breastfeed her little one every two hours.
"Every two hours. I was alarmed in the hospital when they kept waking me up. I was like, ‘Excuse me? Is this what this entails?’" she said. But luckily, Twilight star Robert has been 'calm' and on hand to help.
Recalling how he helped her through the delivery of the baby, she said: “He was there with me and like all dads, he was really nervous, but for someone who’s quite an anxious person, he’s been very calm.”
The star also gushed that Robert is “the dad I could have hoped for," telling Vogue: “I mean a dad and his daughter? It’s an actual love story.”
Singer Suki first unveiled her baby bump when she took to the stage at the Corona Capital Festival in Mexico City in November 2023.
The singer arrived on stage in a sparkling pink mini dress and and fluffy pink jacket, as she quipped: "I thought I'd wear something sparkly today to distract you from something else I've got going on" as she pointed to her stomach.
As the delighted crowd erupted in cheers, the actress and singer responded: "I'm not sure if it's working."
Suki took to Instagram following the concert, where she posed with pal Georgia May Jagger and proudly showed off her growing bump.
Captioning the snap, she wrote: "thank you for such a beautiful time in Mexico! [red heart emoji]."
Suki's celeb pals were quick to share messages of congratulations, with actor Sam Claflin writing: "YEEEEEEES! Woop woop! I love this news" while The Vampire Diaries star Nina Dobrev added: "Congratulations"
Dua Lipa commented: "Congrats sweeeetness!!!!!" and Karlie Kloss wrote: "Congratulations mama!!"
The Daisy Jones and The Six star also appeared to confirm her engagement to Robert as she debuted a Toi et Moi ring during a stroll in London in December, 2023.
A source recently confirmed the news to People, telling the publication: "They both want to be married. It's important for them.
"He's so ready. His relationship with Suki is incredible."
