Former Strictly Come Dancing contestant Susannah Constantine often gives her fans on social media an insight into her daily life, and most recently Susannah has been sharing her love of wild swimming with her followers.

Wild swimming, also known as open water swimming, takes place in any natural body of water and has a whole range of physical health and mental health benefits, including boosting wellbeing, reducing stress and helping a person to be more mindful.

Presenter Susannah is the latest celebrity to share her wild swimming experience on social media, posting pictures and videos of her and her friends going for a dip in Shoreham-by-Sea.

Susannah's most recent snap showed her post-swim, wearing a blue one-piece swimsuit and swim boots, complete with a huge smile on her face. Susannah simply captioned the post "Joy 💙", and her followers took to the comment section to share their thoughts on the activity.

"Omg how do u do that 🥶🥶🥶🥶 brilliant 🙌," one follower wrote, while another added: "Whoa. Maybe I could consider it with a wetsuit, but otherwise... 😳❄️"

A third fan commented: "Inspiring, might look around where I live to see if any groups do this 👏"

On World Mental Health Day in October, the star praised the activity for boosting her spirits, alongside a picture of her with her fellow wild swimmers she wrote: "Nothing better to lift the mood than a swim in October seas."

We're tempted to give wild swimming a go ourselves now. Would you try it?
