Strictly star's wife addresses 'curse' as she issues 6-word statement

Strictly professional dancer Graziano Di Prima and his wife Giada are the picture of happiness, two years on from getting hitched in a gorgeous Italian wedding.

Posing in our gorgeous shoot, which took place at the stunning Sandals Dunn's River resort in Jamaica, they couldn't be more loved up.

Talking about their relationship with OK!, the couple addressed Strictly, which Graziano has been a fixture on since 2018, and the show's so-called 'curse.'

In a defiant five-word statement, dancer Giada, told us that couples getting together through work isn't subject to the show.

"The “curse” is in every job," she said. "It could happen in an office or a bar. I think the most important thing is trusting the person."

Graziano said: "We do the same job, we are professional dancers. We respect each other and have principles and we try to share everything we are going through in the season with each other. Giada is my best friend, she knows everything. When you don’t want to do things in the wrong way you never even think of it."

Also in our chat, the dancing duo discussed next steps including starting a family together.

Graziano, who has previously been partnered with Kym Marsh and Judi Love on the BBC dancing show, explained: "We are both dancers and I always say to my wife, when she feels ready I am always here to support her. We have to find the right time in our lives to do it. Of course we want a family in the future, absolutely."

While Giada added: "We both want a family. I think it’s a little bit different with our work, especially for us ladies. We have to stop our careers and our bodies change. You have to be ready 100 per cent to dedicate all of yourself to this, and then hope you can come back."

Both Graziano and Giada have TV dancing jobs - Giada works on Dancing With The Stars in Italy. And ahead of their busy season coming up the pair are looking forward to their respective shows resuming - but it's bittersweet for the lovebirds working in different countries.

"I am so lucky, Strictly changed my life," Graziano told us. "But at the same time, I am apart from my wife. It’s one of the toughest times. Strictly takes every minute of your life. From the moment you start until December, you work and live for Strictly."

He lated added: "Thank God there is technology because we call each other for hours. We have a rule that we will put the phone in front of each other while we have dinner so it looks like we are having dinner together."
