Strictly star Pete Wicks shares 'regret' as he opens up on past decisions

Strictly Come Dancing star Pete Wicks has spoken candidly about the tattoos he regrets as he appeared on the latest edition of Loose Men.

On the much-loved spin-off show to ITV's well-known format, Loose Women, presenter Craig Doyle led a star-studded panel which included Jordan Banjo, Danny Jones and Towie star Pete.

On Wednesday afternoon (February 5), the men went on to share their thoughts on tattoos and whether they still hold a bad reputation.

Pete, 37, is widely known for his elaborate tattoos, but the star revealed that he's not too sure about some of them —especially his tattoo of celebrity pal, Sam Thomas.

He said: "I am pretty covered, and a lot of them mean something to me, they all hold memories."

Pointing to Danny, he said: "We were talking about this before, it's an expression, isn't it- they hold memories like photographs and different views in my life.

"Some I regret. You know I have got Sam Thompson tattooed on me."

Showing fans a glimpse of his inking, Pete pulled down his trousers slightly to flaunt the permanent marking which appeared to be Sam's face.

Later on the show, Pete divulged a bit further on his view on being a committed relationship.

The star, who was recently linked to I'm A Celeb's Maura Higgins, claimed he is fully aware that he's become known as a "commitment phone".

He confessed: "I'm the only one on the panel that’s not married with kids. I am probably well known for being a bit of a commitment phobe, and I've never hidden that fact. I think there's loads of different reasons why.

"I do think men are often described as being commitment phobes and not as much women but I do think that is rubbish, I've got to say I do think women are, I would say, just as bad but I don't necessarily see it as a bad thing either.

"I think everyone assumes that you have to commit, you have to do this [and] to do this, because society tells us you have to be married and you have to have kids - and you have to do all this sort of stuff by a certain age.

"I am heading towards forty and I'm not married and all that sort of stuff. I think people do kind of have a bit of a stigma against that but, I think it's just down to [that] it's just been my choice to do that."

Loose Women airs weekdays at 12:30pm on ITV1.
