After a week of controversy where Wynne Evans and his Strictly Come Dancing professional dance partner Katya Jones were forced to apologise for their "misjudged" inside joke, Wynne has now addressed the "conspiracy theories" over his mystery disappearance on Saturday night's show. During Strictly Come Dancing many of the celebrities wait in the 'Claudatorium' with host Claudia Winkleman and many fans noticed that Wynne was missing for most of the night.

Speaking on BBC Radio Wales, to host Robin Morgan, Wynne explained his absence. He said: "There's all these conspiracy theories why I'm not in the Claudatorium. The reality was I had to go and get my trousers redone because they were sticking to the sticky tape on the side. So I wasn't in the Claudatorium for a little bit because I was being sewn into my costume downstairs!"

Wynne and Katya also chatted about their rehearsals for that week which included a prop malfunction. During his quickstep Wynne is meant to break off a door handle, however during the rehearsal somebody noticed the door handle was loose and screwed it back on, making it very difficult for Wynne to break off.
