Strictly bosses 'eye up' Tommy Fury for this year's show amidst Molly-Mae Hague split rumours

Strictly bosses have got their eye on Tommy

Strictly Come Dancing bosses are reportedly eyeing up Tommy Fury for the new series.

The Love Island star and professional boxer, 25, has had significant publicity last year and has taken part in boxing matches against rapper KSI and Jake Paul worth millions meaning that BBC chiefs could have their work cut out for them when it comes to fees. The show normally offers a flat rate of £25,000 but the multi-millionaire could turn his nose up to this offer.

Despite challenges with contracts, TV bosses are thought to be attracted to a younger demographic for next year's show. An insider told The Sun: "Bosses are trying everything to get Tommy on", reports the Daily Star.

"They believe Molly-Mae in the audience would also pull in younger fans. Producers believe he would be a hit with the ladies. But his pay demands are too high."

The insider hinted that the Strictly team is hoping Tommy Fury will see the upside of attracting a "new type of follower" by joining the dance floor.

Although Tommy's decision is still up in the air, it's been whispered that Gladiator and former Olympic sprinter Nitro, whose real name is Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, is on the verge of sealing a deal with the show's bosses.

At 35, the crowd-pleaser is managed by none other than Dan Baldwin, Holly Willoughby's hubby and talent agency Hotshot. Nitro dazzled viewers of Strictly last December when he popped up to reel off the voting digits.

In other news, Molly-Mae Hague has sparked whispers of a possible split from Tommy after she was spotted jet-setting to Dubai solo. This comes following her noticeable absence from social media during Tommy's recent 25th birthday celebrations.

Last year, the famous couple welcomed their first child together, a baby girl, called Bambi. With their little family seemingly complete, Tommy got down on one knee and asked Molly-Mae to marry him and she said 'yes'.

This year though, Molly-Mae, 24, seems to have hit pause on her usual flurry of social media shares. Notably, she didn't publicly shout out Tommy's birthday despite posting every other year.

Eagle-eyed fans also picked up on Molly-Mae's silence regarding Tommy's leap into acting.

Tommy's set to tickle our funny bones in a comedy flick titled The Debt Inherited, marking his first foray into film. But with Molly-Mae keeping mum about both his birthday and his big-screen break, followers are buzzing with speculation that there might be a bit of a storm brewing in their love nest.
