Strictly’s Alexandra Burke pregnant with second child
Congratulations are in order for Strictly Come Dancing and The X Factor star Alexandra Burke, who has announced she is expecting her second child.
Nearly a year after welcoming her first baby with partner Darren Randolph, the happy couple shared the exciting news that another baby is on the way.
Posting a series of pictures together, including Darren cradling Alexandra's growing baby bump, the couple wrote on Instagram: "We are so excited to do this all again."
They have received a host of congratulations in the comments, with Dawn French writing: "Woooohooo". Presenter AJ Odudu added: "WOW!!!!", while Vicky Pattison said: "Omg! Congratulations babes".
Revealing last July that they had welcomed their first baby, Alexandra said at the time: "Welcome to the world, our little grape... We already love you more than words can say."
The X Factor winner previously spoke of her struggles during her first pregnancy, saying last year: "I'd often heard that pregnancy can change how you feel about yourself and your body but my goodness it's been true for me!
"The first three or four months of pregnancy, I really struggled accepting all the changes to my body because it was totally out of my control.
"I'll be honest and admit I've been through quite a few ups and down privately, BUT I now find myself in a totally different head space and I finally feel good about my body."
The star added: "I didn't realise how much I used to worry about stupid things before this whole amazing experience, for what I now realise was for NO REASON!
"So I guess what I'm trying to say, pregnancy aside, is that we must try to love our bodies more rather than looking for negatives or comparing ourselves to others."
