Steph McGovern issues hilarious warning ahead of new TV series
We’re looking forward to having Steph McGovern back on our TVs for a new health series alongside celebrity chef Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, but the presenter has issued an interesting warning ahead of the premiere.
Easy Ways To Live Well will air on BBC One next week and will follow the former BBC Breakfast presenter as she find smart ways of tackling the nation’s biggest health concerns.
Sounds great right? But the 38-year-old will also be taking part in a scientific test herself and she’s warned fans to prepare themselves…
Promoting the show on Twitter today, she told fans: “Warning: My 💩 features heavily in ep1 - all in name of science.”

During episode one , Steph visits a scientist where she submits an analysis of her faeces in order to find out more about the bacteria which lies inside her gut and she was shocked to discover just how much “unhealthy” food she was eating.
“I eat crap to keep me going when I'm working very early, but I was genuinely upset and embarrassed by what they found in my poo,” she admitted to The Times this week.
“I consider it my job to be well informed and good at what I do, but I realised that, looking after myself, I was doing a terrible job.
“And then of course I got pregnant and you have to take the life of your child very seriously. It's not all about you and cutting corners because you are tired.”
Steph gave birth to her first child in November and has been sharing updates with fans since.
Fans can also look forward to Steph fronting her very own afternoon show for Channel 4 later this year too.
Easy Ways To Live Well starts January 22 on BBC One.
