The Stars of 'Feud: Capote vs. The Swans' All Wore Black and White to the Premiere
Portraying the "Swans" — some of the most notorious socialites in the history of New York City — is quite a tall order when it comes to fashion. Being amongst the city's elite, they always dressed the part. For the red carpet premiere of Ryan Murphy's new season of "Feud: Capote vs. The Swans," the show's stars — Chloë Sevigny, Molly Ringwald, Demi Moore, Diane Lane, Naomi Watts and Calista Flockhart — did their characters proud, bringing plenty of glamour.
On Tuesday evening, the cast gathered in their very best coordinating black-and-white ensembles for the occasion. Sevigny wore a look from Christopher John Roger's Pre-Fall 2024 collection, pairing the bow-adorned dress with black moto gloves.
Moore went a bit more literal with the theme, wearing a form-fitting Balmain gown with stripes that gathered into the shape of a swan. She paired the striking outfit with Cartier jewelry and black platform heels. Flockhart, who plays Lee Radziwill (the sister of Jackie Kennedy Onassis), wore a velvet, zig-zag Zuhair Murad gown and Tiffany & Co. jewels.
Lane opted for an off-the-shoulder dress with a long train by Cristina Ottaviano, also wearing Tiffany & Co. to accessorize. Watts wore a three-dimensional rosette-covered look from Givenchy's Spring 2019 Couture collection. She carried a bedazzled Judith Lieber clutch in the shape of — you guessed it — a swan.
Ringwald rounded out the coordinated sartorial effort in a black sleeveless dress with a mermaid skirt, made custom by Rodarte. She also carried a tulle shawl, calling back to the opulent nature of the show's leading ladies.
