Starbucks offers free coffee the Monday after the Super Bowl: How to get yours
Super Bowl 59 is this Sunday, meaning millions of viewers across the country will stay up late to watch the game, whether for the football, for the halftime show, or for the commercials. Starbucks is hoping to wake fans up Monday with free coffee.
The coffee chain announced Wednesday it is offering Starbucks Rewards members free coffee on Monday, Feb. 10, in a promotion the company is calling "Starbucks Monday." If you are a member of the rewards program, you can stop in for a free tall hot or iced brewed coffee any time, the company said.
Customers can apply the Starbucks Monday coupon in the Starbucks app prior to placing your order when using the order ahead feature on the app, or tell your barista you are redeeming the coupon when ordering in-store or in the drive-thru.
If you are not a Starbucks Rewards member, you can sign up by 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on Feb. 9 to get your Starbucks Monday coupon in the app, the company said. If you join the Starbucks Rewards program on Feb. 10, the company says you can see your barista in the store to enjoy a free coffee.
"No matter who wins Sunday, we can all win Monday," Starbucks said.
