St. Patrick's Day is still a few of days away, and we're already feeling lucky thanks to some exciting news from Starbucks. The coffee shop recently announced that they are rolling out a brand-new drink to celebrate the holiday and treating fans to a special BOGO offer.

Available starting today, the festive green drink is called the Luck of the Matcha Crème Frappuccino. Described as being "inspired by a pot o’ gold at the end of the rainbow," the frap blends together sweet and creamy matcha, caramel syrup, milk, and ice. The frothy concoction is then topped with whipped cream, caramel sauce, and a crunchy caramel-sugar topping.

As for Starbucks' buy one get one, it will be available exclusively to Starbucks Rewards members on Thursday, March 14 from 12 - 6 p.m. During that time, when you buy any handcrafted drink, you can get another one for free. And yes, the Luck of the Matcha Crème Frappuccino is included in that deal.

The Thursday BOGO offer also serves as the perfect time to sample the coffee shop's new spring menu if you haven't already. The lavender-forward menu features the Iced Lavender Oatmilk Latte, Iced Lavender Oatmilk Matcha, and other seasonal sips.

Lucky for you, Starbucks isn't the only restaurant dishing out freebies this week in celebration of St. Patrick's Day. Krispy Kreme will give away a free green O’riginal Glazed donut from March 15 - 17 to customers who show up to their local shop wearing green.
