Stacey Solomon fans spot dirty detail as she unveils new arrivals' unexpected names
Stacey Solomon fans have expressed their curiosity after spotting a rather unusual detail in the TV personality’s latest post. After welcoming two new ducks to her Pickle Cottage home back in May, the 34 year old has finally revealed their names – though it was something else that got her social media followers talking.
In an adorable Instagram post, Stacey introduced the Solomon-Swash ducks to the world and explained that they’d finally settled on names for the pair. Alongside a sweet snap of the duo on her bed, the mum-of-five wrote: “Daisy & Delilah Solomon-Swash So our ducks are gorgeous feather girlies & now finally we can name them.
“Honestly these little duckies have brought so much joy to our lives. They're so loving and cuddly and just the most amazing addition to our family! Can’t wait to complete pickle cottage pond & maybe adopt some more feathered friends.”
She continued: “Things are starting to get a little more even around pickle cottage. 6 boys 5 girls now counting all dogs ducks and humans.”
However, in response to the post, some of her followers couldn’t help but question the cleanliness of having ducks in her bedroom. “Cute but don’t they poop on yr bedding?,” wrote one. “Love them!! Do they not accidentally poop on your fresh bedding,” added another.
Meanwhile a third wrote: “You’ve only just changed that bed this morning!!”. A fourth commented: “So cute, but do they sh*t everywhere when in the house.”
Others were less caught up by the detail, with one writing: “Aww more girlies in the family! Perfect names too.” Another said: “Daisy Duck & Delilah Duck. It’s too much for my heart to contend with. Just adorable.”
The news comes after Stacey and husband Joe Swash opened up about the sleeping arrangements during an episode of Celebrity Gogglebox – with soap legend Joe looking back on the days when they used to share a bed.
As the parents of Rex, five, daughter Rose, two and one-year-old Belle, during the show the pair joked that having three children in four years was the reason for their arrangements Stacey is also mum to sons Zachary, 16, and Leighton, 12, from previous relationships while Joe, 42, has a 17 year old son called Harry.
“We used to have pillow talk, didn’t we?,” Joe told Stacey, to which she replied: “We used to sleep in bed together, do you remember that? Before we had three kids in four years.”
Joe then did an impression of Stacey and added: “I’ll go in Rex’s bed with the baby, alright.”
