Stacey Solomon announces the birth of baby girl
Stacey Solomon has confirmed the birth of her new daughter.
The newborn baby girl is Solomon's third child with her husband, former EastEnders star Joe Swash, and her fifth overall.
Solomon posted a sweet photograph of the newborn baby to her Instagram account (11 February), saying: "She's Here. Our beautiful, daughter born at home with all of your brothers and sister ready to snuggle you forever and ever.
"You literally flew into our world… And none of us can quite believe your thick dark head of hair that we just can't get over. We can't believe you're here.
"Welcome to the world beautiful girl, thank you for the last few months in my tummy, we can't wait to love you forever and ever we are so grateful we get to be your family."
Solomon confirmed in her Instagram Stories that the newborn arrived on 7 February at 4.10pm, adding: "All of a sudden, our lives changed forever."
Celebrities including Holly Willoughby, Kate Lawler, Maura Higgins, Kaye Adams, Vanessa Feltz and Davina McCall were among those offering congratulations.
"The joy I feel for all of you is overwhelming," Jessie J wrote.
Solomon originally announced her pregnancy in an Instagram post towards the end of December 2022, adding it was a "huge surprise".
More recently, the TV personality announced the sex of her baby in another heartwarming post.
"So excited to share with you that we are going to be saying hello to another darling daughter soon," she wrote. "Sisters. The boys are so excited.
"And the thought of Rose having a little sister as well as all of her amazing big brothers has filled our hearts."
The Loose Women star also reflected on her own happy memories of growing up with sisters.
"I have the most incredible sisters in the world," Solomon continued. "They are my everything. I'm so excited for the boys, Rose and our newest little girl."
