Stacey & Joe: now we can watch how
Stacey Solomon has just announced a new BBC reality show taking us inside her home with husband Joe Swash, their children and the pets (four ducks, two dogs).
Stacey & Joe will show what home life looks like at Pickle Cottage, their Essex estate, documenting events such as the couple’s second wedding anniversary, son Zach receiving his GCSE results and Stacey’s win at the National Television Awards.
The six-part series was filmed last summer and autumn, and the family have been working hard to keep it under wraps, but if the teaser they released is anything to go by, it promises to be an honest and refreshing insight into blended family life.
The Sort Your Life Out star announced the show’s release on a shared Instagram post: “A new year. A very new adventure. Coming Spring 2025, we’ve been so nervous & excited to share this. Here is us. All of us. In 2024 we opened up our home & made a series about our lives, family, work & everything in between.”
She went on to say what a “huge leap into the unknown” it had been creating the show and how much they had enjoyed making it: “But last year as a family we decided to say yes to more & do things we’d never done. We have spoken about making a documentary for a long time, lots of you have asked too.”
After speaking to Stacey a few months ago to find out her biggest tips for decluttering, we certainly were on the lookout for more of how Stacey juggles it all – not to mention how she manages to get her teenage sons to do their laundry.
Stacey and Joe want to bring us along with them through “the laughter the tears & the craziness” and they “hope it makes you smile, feel good & hopefully enjoy getting to know us all a little more”.
There’s one thing for certain: we will be tuning in to see how she puts these tips into action in Stacey & Joe this spring.
