Sophie Habboo says husband Jamie Laing would be 'worst birthing partner'
Sophie Habboo has predicted that her husband Jamie Laing will be a disaster when it comes to welcoming children. The Made In Chelsea stars, who tied the knot last year, discussed the topic on their NewlyWeds podcast. Jamie, 36, admitted: "I'm going to hate it. I really don't think I am going to handle you being in pain." Sophie, 30 then suggested she might have someone else present during the birth, such as her mum.
When Jamie questioned why he wouldn't be there for the birth of their child, Sophie responded: "I think you will have to have a Xanax at that point, or something, because your anxiety will freak me through the roof." She also predicted that Jamie would recount the birth from his own perspective, saying: "You will definitely be like, 'We are never doing that again.' Because you found it so traumatic. "And you will tell my birthing story to everyone for sure."
"They will be like, 'How was the birth? ' and then you will have said it from your perspective, 'It was so hard for me and then this happened, and I was there for days.'" Jamie then said: "I can picture it now. You are going to have your feet in the stirrups like that and you are going to pushing and panicking and looking at me for help. You are going to be looking at me for help because you'll think I'll be able to solve it."

She joked: "I am going to get that blonde wig and rip it so hard." Sophie also Jamie will quickly call his stepfather for guidance or request a video consultation with an expert.
She teased: "I know what you will actually be doing, can I say, I'll be pushing and you will be like, 'Oh my God, this is so painful' and you will be like, 'Right, OK, bear with me.' And you will go out and call Jonathan Baines, your stepfather, and be like, 'Mummy, I need to know, Sophie is in pain while pushing, is that OK? '""I will be like, 'Get f****** here."
Jamie and Sophie tied the knot in April last year with two ceremonies - one in London and another in Spain three weeks later.
Back in October, Jamie shared a sweet message for Sophie to mark her 30th birthday. In his touching message, Jamie wrote: “Happy Birthday Sophie.... 30 years old today!” “There are all the obvious reasons why I love you, smart, funny, witty, strong, put up with me, the obvious. However there are many things people don't know about you. For example; you're an amazing swimmer particularly breaststroke, you have the most incredible palate and can cook the most delicious food!
"You can fall asleep in any situation as long as you have an eye mask. You understand more about nutrition than most experts I'm sure of it. You pretend to not like my silly jokes but secretly do and you love nothing more than being with Family.”
