Running into your ex’s new partner is everyone’s worst nightmare right? Well, let’s all spare a moment for Sofia Richie, who yesterday experienced a close call with Amelia Hamlin, Scott Disick's new girlfriend.

ICYMI Sofia dated Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Scott Disick for more than three years, eventually splitting in August last year. Not too long after their break up, rumours started swirling in celeb land that Scott was dating Sofia’s pal Amelia Hamlin, daughter of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Lisa Rinna.

Although Sofia and Amelia weren’t super close, a source revealed to E! News at the time that they ran “in the same circles” and that things were “awkward.” Sofia also unfollowed Amelia on Instagram after she confirmed her romance with Scott.

Fast forward a few months and it seems things are still frosty between the pair.

On Wednesday afternoon [21 April], reports from E! Online say Sofia was headed to Forma Pilates, but soon after arriving she made a quick exit to her car. Just a few moments later, Amelia Hamlin was spotted arriving at the very same gym. Yikes.

“It was a very awkward situation for Sofia and she didn’t know Amelia was also going to be taking the class at the same time,” an insider source said. “She wanted to avoid the situation altogether so that’s why she left.

“Sofia has been going to Forma Pilates longer than Amelia and didn’t think they would have any run-in issues,” the source added.

Earlier this month, Sofia confirmed rumours that she’s dating music executive Elliot Grange. The duo were spotted together on multiple occasions and posted cosied-up snaps all over on Instagram.

We’ll have to wait and see what comes of this new romance, and in the meantime, let's hope Sofia avoids any more awks encounters...
