Snapple’s Newest Flavor Has a Surprising Ingredient
With flavors as bright as the sun, this one's just in time for the solar eclipse.
Snapple brings us back to the lazy days of summer and all the nostalgic feelings of childhood. The brand's famous Raspberry Tea and Half N' Half Lemonade Iced Tea went hand-in-hand with sunbathing in the backyard.
While we enjoy the classics like everyone else, we're also big on trying new things, especially when our favorite drink brands refresh their offerings. Lucky for us and Snapple fans, the company is adding a new flavor to its popular lineup this month.
Snapple's New Snapple Elements Sun Flavor
Snapple recently released its brand-new Snapple Elements Sun flavor just in time for the solar eclipse on April 8. The new flavor combines three fruits for a light and refreshing taste: orange, nectarine, and, in a surprising twist, starfruit. If you've never tried starfruit, it's a little sweet and a little tart, and some say it has orange and grape flavors with the crispness of an apple.
This latest flavor expansion comes from a line launched last spring, revamping a '90s favorite—you may remember the Snapple Elements Earth with its tart and sweet flavors of fig and cherry.
The online community is already talking about this new offering. Instagram's beveragechampion recently posted about Snapple Elements Sun after trying it and giving this flavor a 7.7 out of 10, saying, "Much like the others, this kind of just tastes like Vitamin Water. The fruit flavors are actually really nice here though, making this the most unique and best tasting of the lineup. The most forefront flavor here is the nectarine, followed by the starfruit. I don't taste much orange, but that's a good thing!"
Commenters were excited about the news and eager to try this latest flavor, saying, "I can't wait to try this."
Snapple Elements Sun is available nationwide at Walmart and major grocers, such as Giant Food Stores, where we found a bottle online for $1.25.
