Slouchy Denim Took Over Street Style at Haute Couture Fashion Week
After seeing different variations of denim pop up throughout the Fall 2023 haute couture shows last year, the trend made its way to the streets of Paris for the Spring 2024 season.
We spotted guests and models alike in their slouchiest, most relaxed — and most high-end — denim pieces outside the Haute Couture Fashion Week events. Whether the looks were inspired by Balenciaga's canvas garments brushed with oil paint to look like denim or the fully beaded blue jeans Julien Dossena sent down the Jean Paul Gaultier runway, the high-low got the stamp of approval from the fashion community.
