Whether you're a fan of wildlife, documentaries or just love our national treasure Sir David Attenborough, news that the broadcaster and biologist is returning with a new series will be music to the ears of many.
The BBC has confirmed that Sir David Attenborough will front a brand new seven-part wildlife documentary called Asia, focusing on the amazing natural life of the planet's largest continent.
The series is also the first time the BBC has made a major series about wildlife in the region, and the network revealed that the episodes would showcase some of Asia's "most remarkable landscapes and animals, and feature dramatic, previously unseen behaviour."
Teasing some of the amazing scenes which viewers can expect from the show, the BBC also said, "we’ll follow rhinos playing ‘kiss chase’ in a bizarre courtship ritual. In the foothills of the Himalaya, amidst forests of bamboo, we’ll meet Asia’s shyest and possibly cutest mammal: the red panda.
"Five thousand metres up on the Tibetan Plateau, we’ll witness a lone wolf relentlessly hunting a herd of antelope for hours on end."
The new series will air on BBC One as well as BBC iPlayer, although the official UK release date for the show is yet to be confirmed.
