On Saturday night, Miller paired a cropped leather waistcoat with white wide-leg jeans, a croc-effect leather belt and pointed heeled boots. She further accessorised with a slouchy cross-body Chemena Kamali for Chloé bag (a personal favourite) and a gold beaded boho bracelet, once more co-signing the return of all things boho comeback. The look blended the easy elegance she is best known for with a free spirit, proving that the waistcoat is no longer just a niche throwback for festival season – it’s the new spring essential.
She was joined at the event by her boyfriend, actor Oli Green, who wore a plaid shirt, black jeans and a leather jacket complementing Miller’s look. The couple recently starred in Frame’s latest campaign, which showcased both menswear and womenswear, modelling staple denim pieces from the LA-based brand’s spring collection.
Miller has been serving up plenty of spring fashion inspiration in recent weeks. In London, she stepped out in a dusty pink Alexa Chung for Barbour trench coat paired with black pointed-heel boots – a refined yet relaxed combination that’s perfect for the in-between seasons.
The Frame dinner was a gathering of fashion’s most recognizable names, with Alexa Chung, Jessica Alba, Joan Smalls, Camille Charrière, and Lila Moss among the stylish guests.
Miller’s embrace of the leather waistcoat signals its fully-fledged return. Whether styled with denim, layered over a dress, or worn with tailored trousers, this once-underground staple is back in rotation – and Miller just proved why it belongs in everyone’s wardrobe.
