Showgoers Leaned Into a Neutral Color Palette for Day 1 of New York Fashion Week Street Style
Blue skies and bright rays of sunshine finally appeared in New York City over the last few days — just in time for New York Fashion Week. But after a consistent period of cloudy weather and a gray atmosphere, it seems New Yorkers are sticking to overcast-friendly neutrals for their street style.
Though show attendees generally opted for subdued hues, they certainly didn't play it safe. Unique takes on leather — like pierced skirts or corseted bustiers — were seen throughout the day along with plenty of statement khaki and denim pieces.
