Shania Twain is proving she's an icon.

On Tuesday night, the 57-year-old Canadian singer rocked the 2022 People's Choice Awards red carpet with an elevated version of the iconic leopard catsuit she wore in 1998 for the "That Don't Impress Me Much" music video.

This time, the "You're Still The One" artist stunned in a long leopard print hooded shawl, a leopard print strapless bralette, a long black skirt and a mesh bodysuit. Twain paired the look with eye-catching pink hair, matching eye makeup and a bright pink-red lip.

At the awards show, hosted at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif., Twain was awarded with the music icon award.

"Oh my gosh, this is such a privilege and a dream. Am I dreaming? Thank you so much for presenting me with this award and highlighting my work for having a significant impact," she said, while accepting her award from presenter Billy Porter. "I don't know if that's the right thing to say, but it's always my wish to inspire people with my music."

"I always miss my mother at these moments my life. She would have loved watching her little girl living this moment right now. But my fans, my friends, my team — you are the ones who really fill that space ... not my mother's space. But you're here with me, you're celebrating, we're celebrating together, and you've made me feel loved and special my whole working life. I'll always be grateful for that."

While accepting the award, which was first won by Christina Aguilera in 2021, Twain explained how she first felt a connection to music.

"From a very young age I turned to songwriting as a form of escapism," Twain continued. "This is my go-to place. It never occurred to me how powerful lyrics can become when you are able to record and share them with the world. The biggest honour is that people have found strength and inspiration in my work. Thank you and I love you for that."

"I just want to say giddy up, kids. Embrace your individuality and your crazy ideas. Just be brave. Let's remember there is power in numbers. We are in this together. Love is love. And when a door slams in your face, just taking a freakin' run — just run and leap at that door and kick it down. You won't regret it. So all I have to say is, be the queen of you."

While performing at the awards show, Twain showed off her signature cowgirl style with an all-pink leather suit, a matching cowgirl hat and large sunglasses.

In a quick outfit change, Twain switched into a glittering sleeveless jumpsuit with long-sleeve gloves while rocking her pink hair.

During the performance, the Windsor, Ont.-native kicked off her performance with "Any Man of Mine" and "That Don't Impress Me Much," eventually getting into snippets of "Man! I Feel Like a Woman" and her new song, "Waking Up Dreaming."
