Amazon's biannual Prime Day sale has finally arrived in the form of Big Deal Days – the perfect opportunity to upgrade your beauty routine without splurging.
There are so many incredible deals on everything from headphones to smart watches, fitness gear and leggings. But there's one area of the sale I'm particularly interested in and that's haircare.
I've been on a bit of a journey with my hair, having dyed it blonde for years on end and recently making the decision to grow out my bob. With this in mind, I've been making a big effort to not only improve the appearance of my hair, but also better my hair health.
As a health and wellness writer, I get to try out a lot of products. But there's one brand that I've found to be a step above the rest and that's OUAI.

I've used the OUAI Medium Hair shampoo and conditioner for nearly two years now and I honestly don't think that I'll ever switch to another brand.
The very first time I used the products, I noticed a big difference in how my hair looked and felt. Namely, there was less frizz and my hair felt silky smooth. If I ever do happen to use other products to wash my hair – such as when I'm travelling and haven't been able to pack them – I can immediately feel the difference both when I'm washing and in the texture and appearance of my hair when it's dry.
In the past, I mainly used cheap supermarket shampoos that contained ingredients like parabens and sulfates which can damage the hair. Now I prioritise using hair products that are free from any harsh ingredients, like the OUAI duo, and my hair health has really benefitted in the long term as a result.
Notably, my hair has grown quicker than ever before and the colour also lasts much longer, which makes the price point of these products worth it for me, as it reduces the amount of trips I make to the hairdresser throughout the year.
OUAI also offer shampoo and conditioners for fine and thick hair, but the medium products suit me pretty well (I have what hairdressers like to call 'thin hair, but a lot of it).
